Jon has always loved radio, he has said on many occasions it’s the only media that’s one-to-one with the listener. He was involved in his local hospital radio for many years as well as ACR FM in Harlow, Radio GOSH, Virgin Radio and BBC’s GLR which were all great experiences.

He also presents a weekly show on Box Office Radio, and now being part of the Greasepaint and Stage Lights team and continues to combine his two passions.

His love for theatre started at a young age, when he was 6, he was cast as the youngest prince in the King & I at the Adelphi theatre. The Show starred Peter Wyngarde as the King, and Sally Anne Howes as Mrs. Anna.

Unfortunately, being on stage wasn’t for him (it’s been said many times he has the perfect face for radio) but being in the audience certainly was.

His wife and family share in his love of musical theatre, particularly his daughter Paige, who loves to sing & perform on stage and one day he hopes to be playing a musical theatre cast recording that will feature Paige.

Claudia L is a lead reviewer for the show.
